This role requires mastery of Adlib’s core technology stack (C#, .NET, Angular, SQL) and advanced proficiency in n8n, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.\n\nUnlike a traditional engineering role, this position follows a Forward-Deployed Engineering (FDE) model, embedding directly with customers during onboarding and expansion to execute packaged Activation Packs, integrate systems, validate workflows, and deliver rapid time-to-value.\n\nYou will accelerate customer success by proving ROI, enabling scalable adoption of Adlib’s platform, and translating complex enterprise requirements into performant, repeatable solutions. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Experience, and Sales to drive outcomes and feed field learnings back into the core platform.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nForward-Deployed Engineering and Customer Activation:\n\nEmbed with customers during activation sprints to lead implementation of Adlib Trust Kits PrecisionPaths, packaged accelerators, and workflow templates\n\nArchitect and integrate Adlib’s platform into complex customer ecosystems using APIs, enterprise systems, automation pipelines, and standardized deployment patterns\n\nConfigure, orchestrate, and optimize automation workflows using n8n, including custom nodes and enterprise-grade orchestration\n\nDesign and deploy LLM-based and RAG-enabled workflows, including prompt engineering, embedding pipelines, retrieval logic, and hybrid search patterns\n\nValidate customer workflows, measure value realization, and ensure production-level readiness\n\nServe as the customer-facing technical lead, facilitating workshops, conducting technical deep dives, and guiding deployment best practices\n\nEnsure solutions meet security, observability, performance, and rollback standards defined in the FDE playbook\n\nCommunicate deployment patterns, lessons learned, and reusable logic back to Product and Engineering\n\nPartner with Sales Engineering to ensure a smooth transition from late-stage sales cycles into activation execution\n\nFull-Stack Engineering and System Development:\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using C# (ASP.NET, .NET Core) and Angular\n\nContribute to system design, architectural reviews, and performance optimization\n\nWork across both legacy and modern .NET applications, ensuring compatibility and modernization where required\n\nDevelop reusable components, libraries, and workflow modules to support repeatable customer deployments\n\nTroubleshoot complex issues spanning UI, backend services, automation workflows, LLM pipelines, and integrations\n\nAI, Workflow Automation, and Systems Integration:\n\nArchitect and deliver LLM-driven and RAG-enabled workflows, including vector search, embeddings, retrieval pipelines, and dataset preparation\n\nMaintain and extend n8n workflows, automation logic, and integrations\n\nIntegrate Adlib systems with cloud services, enterprise platforms, and ECM systems\n\nStay current on advancements in AI, workflow automation, and platform engineering\n\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\n\nTechnical Expertise\n\n8+ years of software development experience with a strong emphasis on full-stack engineering\n\nExpert-level proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related frameworks\n\n4+ years of experience building modern front-end applications with Angular and TypeScript\n\nStrong SQL experience with query optimization and performance tuning\n\nDeep hands-on expertise with n8n for enterprise automation (firm requirement)\n\nDeep expertise with LLMs and RAG architectures, including vector stores and retrieval pipelines (firm requirement)\n\nStrong understanding of system architecture and design principles\n\nForward-Deployed and Customer-Facing Skills\n\nSignificant experience working directly with customers in technical deployment or consulting roles\n\nAbility to lead technical workshops, discovery sessions, and solution implementations\n\nStrong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders\n\nProven ability to deliver value under time constraints in dynamic environments\n\nEngineering and Delivery\n\nExcellent troubleshooting skills across full-stack systems\n\nExperience with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices\n\nFamiliarity with Docker and Kubernetes preferred\n\nComfortable operating within Agile teams\n\nEducation and Experience\n\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience\n\nPrior forward-deployed, consulting, or customer-facing engineering experience strongly preferred Security Clearance\n\nThis role will be working direct with customers and federal entities handling sensitive and confidential information.
