Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Transplant Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years required in a large, urban hospital License: Active Nursing License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; CPI and NIH preferred Must-Have: - Two years of prior experience required - Experience with EPIC charting - Ability to float to meet facility needs Description: Provide medical surgical and telemetry care to adult patients pre and post-transplant. Care for patients undergoing treatments for liver, kidney, pancreas, and intestinal issues. Ratios are 1:5 days and 1:6 nights, with potential for 1:7 on rare occasions. BLS and ACLS are required for this position. Candidates must have experience managing various drips and complex care situations. This position may require floating to different units as needed. Must be willing to work weekends and two out of three major holidays. Candidates should expect to manage a variety of patient situations, including surgical drains and wound care.
