The Marketing Data & Engineering team supports Cat Digital's overall marketing efforts having responsibility for data pipelines and products used to reach our customers where they are in their journey.\r\nThis position will be focused around the Digital Intelligence Warehouse. This collection of data and data objects are the foundation for marketing decisions across the enterprise. You will not only be expected to work across multiple cloud database technologies but collaboration with various business & technical teams will be vital. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of progressive technical responsibility, demonstrated communication skills, and comfort with a rapid-paced environment.\r\nWhat You Will Do Build data ingestion pipelines using approved patterns\r\nImplement and document standardized data models\r\nBuild and document data pipelines required to support those models\r\nWork with multiple international teams for overall success of shared goals\r\nExecute proofs of concept as needed to prove out solutions\r\nRegularly report on initiative status to peers and leadership\r\nStandard administration tasks like time reporting, accomplishing training requirements, and task tracking via Azure DevOps\r\nWhat You Will Have Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.\r\nEffective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.\r\nSoftware Development: Knowledge of software development tools and activities; ability to produce software products or systems in line with product requirements.\r\nSoftware Integration Engineering: Knowledge of software integration processes and functions; ability to design, develop and maintain interfaces and linkage to alternative platforms and software packages.\r\nData Pipeline Engineering: Extensive knowledge of building and supporting cloud-based data pipelines; understanding of ingestion, transformation, and orchestration patterns.\r\nCloud Database Proficiency: Working knowledge of cloud database technologies; ability to apply best practices for performance and scalability.\r\nProgressive Technical Ownership: Demonstrated progression in technical capabilities and responsibility; ability to execute tasks autonomously while seeking guidance when needed.\r\nConsideration For Top Candidates Experience with web tracking, social, and ad platform data sets\r\nWorking knowledge of SQL & Python\r\nExperience with web based ETL and/or Reverse ETL technologies\r\nExperience with Microsoft productivity tools\r\nFamiliarity with Google Cloud and AWS capabilities\r\nExperience with BigQuery and/or Snowflake\r\nAdditional Details This position requires the candidate to be in Chicago, IL\r\nRelocation assistance is NOT available for this position\r\nVisa sponsorship is NOT available with this position.\r\nThis position will require up to 0% travel\r\nBI Summary Pay Range $112,710.00 - $183,140.00\r\nCompensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
