What you’ll do Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, automation, and instrumentation systems Support oil & gas field operations with reliable control and measurement systems Diagnose relay logic, ladder diagrams, sensors, relays, starters, timers, solenoids, and frequency inverters Work on PLC, RTU, EFM, and VFD systems (ROC 107/800, ABB TotalFlow, etc.) Maintain I/O boards, counters, modules, and communication devices Collaborate with operations teams, contractors, and vendors to keep projects running smoothly Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset Physical requirements Lift up to 49 lbs Frequent bending, climbing, reaching, and walking across large facilities Safely climb ladders and access elevated areas Work outdoors in active construction and oil & gas environments Stand/walk for extended periods (up to 10–12 hours when required) What we’re looking for Experience in automation, controls, instrumentation, or I&E maintenance Strong troubleshooting skills in field environments Ability to work independently and manage priorities Clear written and verbal communication Safety-minded, self-motivated, and customer-focused Preferred experience (a plus, not required): ABB, Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, Oleumtech, Fisher ROC; PLC/RTU programming; leadership/mentoring experience; prior oil & gas controls technician work.
