Staff Accountant (AP & General Cashier Focus)Location: Avalon Hotel Palm Springs & Ingleside Inn Company: Proper Hospitality Pay Range: $30–$32 per hour Avalon Hotel Palm Springs and Ingleside Inn are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our finance team, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable and General Cashiering functions. This role is ideal for a motivated accounting professional looking for growth, with the opportunity to develop into an Accounting Manager position over time. Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and code vendor invoices; manage weekly check runs and ACH payments Reconcile vendor statements and maintain AP aging Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and revenue reconciliations Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit standards Qualifications2+ years of accounting experience (hospitality preferred) Strong AP and cash handling knowledge Proficient in Excel (pivot tables and lookups preferred) Experience with Sage, ProfitSword, and Craftable is a plus Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Join Proper Hospitality and grow your accounting career within two of Palm Springs' most iconic properties.
