We champion an inclusive culture and strive to attract and develop a talented workforce to create and deliver a wide range of content reflecting our world.\n\nJob Description\nAs part of the Security Operations Team, this position plays a key role in helping maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment across CityWalk and Universal Studios Hollywood by planning, organizing and directing crime prevention operations throughout our iconic Theme Park destination.\n\nPromptly resolve security issues that involve entities associated with Universal Studios Hollywood (USH) and CityWalk.\n\nConduct detailed analysis of Security incident/crime statistics, prepare statistical reports, conduct presentations to management and recommend appropriate Security deployment and tactics based on analysis.\n\nCoordinate with contract security to ensure continuity of the security function and compliance with USH policy and procedures.\n\nLiaise with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. and other law enforcement agencies.\n\nLiaise with other NBCU and USH departments to provide timely notifications and conduct a variety of investigations.\n\nConduct detailed analysis of requests for security and law enforcement intervention, providing assistance and expertise.\n\nConduct periodic audits of security operations insuring the continual pursuit of efficiency, productivity and quality customer services.\n\nDemonstrate the ability to maintain one's composure while handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure, ever-changing, environment.\n\nPrepare operational and situational reports to assist in security deployment planning and risk mitigation.\n\nProvide complete, timely and accurate notification and documentation of incidents using company tracking systems.\n\nQualifications\nBasic Requirements:\n\n10+ years' experience in a number of increasingly responsible positions in law enforcement or a related applicable security profession.\n\nProven organizational, written and verbal communications skills effective at all levels of the organization.\n\nAvailability and willingness to work Nights, Weekends and Holidays dictated by business needs.\n\nAvailability and willingness to adjust schedule and cover special events and shift with short notice.\n\nDesired Characteristics:\n\nBA/BS Degree preferred.\n\nPrevious experience in a corporate security environment.\n\nCertified law enforcement or security trainer (such as POST certification).\n\nDemonstrate a working knowledge of a variety of security technology systems.\n\nFamiliarity with alarm monitoring and physical security systems.\n\nProficient with MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\n\nAbility to multi-task, overseeing multiple projects at the same time.\n\nExperience and training in threat assessment, investigations, risk management and counter- terrorism.\n\nPossess a Carry Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit.\n\nPossess a BSIS Guard Card and Exposed Firearm Permit.\n\nAdditional Requirements:\n\nRequired On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.\n\nThis position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
