Speech-Language Pathologist (Full time/Part time/Hybrid)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist, to join our multi-disciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations, with a focus on paediatric care and early intervention. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in speech therapy techniques, physiology, and anatomy, enabling effective patient assessment and tailored treatment plans. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions using standardized tools and clinical observations
Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough patient evaluations, incorporating current best practices in speech therapy and early intervention strategies
Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving speech clarity, language comprehension, social communication skills, and swallowing safety
Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to support patient progress and ensure continuity of care
Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory standards
Stay informed about advancements in speech-language pathology, paediatric, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to enhance clinical effectiveness
Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development initiatives focused on patient care excellence
Skills
Proven experience working with paediatric populations in school or clinical settings
Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques tailored for early intervention and developmental delays
Familiarity with patient assessment tools specific to speech-language pathology
Solid understanding of physiology and anatomy related to speech production and swallowing mechanisms
Ability to communicate complex medical terminology clearly to patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Commitment to patient care with compassionate approach towards diverse populations
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology practice
