We combine deep industry knowledge with cutting-edge solutions to help our clients succeed.\nPosition Overview\nRangefront Mining Services is seeking a motivated Junior Geologist to support underground and surface geological operations for one of our valued mining clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career geologist looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic mining environment while working alongside experienced geological teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nWork safely and responsibly to prevent harm to self or others.\nUnderstand and follow verbal and written work instructions and safety procedures.\nProperly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.\nSafely operate on-road and off-road vehicles.\nIdentify, control, and report safety or environmental hazards.\nAssist with geological mapping, sampling, and core logging.\nCollect, organize, and enter geological data accurately.\nSupport senior geologists with underground logging, data validation, and reporting.\nAssist with basic interpretation of geological, assay, and structural data.\nMaintain clean, accurate records and contribute to daily reporting requirements.\nQualifications\nEducation: Bachelor of Science in Geology or related field required.\nExperience: Entry-level to 2 years of geological experience preferred.\nStrong preference for candidates with mining experience.\nCurrent MSHA certification strongly preferred.\nFamiliarity with core logging, sampling, and basic geological mapping.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs throughout the workday.\nBasic proficiency with geological software (Leapfrog, Acquire, or similar is a plus).\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.\nValid driver’s license required.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive pay (DOE) and per diem.\nPPE allowance.\nPaid travel and expenses (if applicable).\n401(k) with employer matching.\nComprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance.\nOpportunities for hands-on learning and professional growth.\nThe chance to work with industry leaders at a thriving, expanding company.\nAbout Rangefront Mining Services\nRangefront Mining Services is a US-based company with headquarters in Elko, Nevada and regional offices throughout North America.
