Financial Planning Analyst

Position OverviewThe firm is seeking an FP&A Associate to join its Finance team. This individual will play a key role in financial and operational reporting, forecasting, and planning, while partnering closely with business leaders to deliver insights that support strategic initiatives.This position reports into senior Finance leadership and offers visibility across multiple areas of the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis • Support the annual planning process, long-term forecasting, and monthly close cycles • Assist in the development and maintenance of reporting and rolling forecasts on both a management and GAAP basis • Prepare executive-level reporting materials to communicate financial performance and business trends • Build and maintain financial models, including capital projections and balance sheet analysisBusiness Partnership & Process Improvement • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable financial insights • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and operational efficiency • Support finance transformation initiatives and strategic projects • Contribute to the enhancement of reporting infrastructure, including system optimization and automationMust Have• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A or related finance roles • Background in financial services or a related industry preferred • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills • Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and planning processes • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial systems (e.g., planning tools, ERP systems) preferred • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, MBA) are a plusCore Competencies• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • High attention to detail and organization • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence stakeholders • Self-motivated with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentSummaryThis role is a key contributor to the Finance function, supporting planning, reporting, and strategic analysis efforts.
