Director, Technology Digital Services

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Director, Technology Digital Services to join our team! This position will be responsible for providing leadership, management and direction to staff to ensure we obtain value from our strategic platforms and initiatives. Manage teams by providing leadership on key projects, ongoing continuous delivery, improving process performance to achieve the strategic and tactical goals of the company while evolving the team's abilities and skills.As Part Of This Role You WillDirect the actions and performance of the managers and professional staff within the department, including utilizing various training opportunities to both develop and retain motivated and effective teams.Partner with other technology leaders to develop and implement strategic designs for all aspects of Digital Technology including proactively reviewing new solutions for recommendation in partnership with external thought leaders (vendors and consultants). Partner with the Business and Administrative teams to identify, scope and implement initiatives to digitize & modernize processes and servicesEnsure new and existing strategic platforms are properly installed, maintained and updated in a timely manner and according to best practices where possible and appropriate.Establish policies and procedures for Technology Digital Services as needed.Lead Technology Digital Services department and organize the assignment of resources to projects for the company.Ensure compliance with security standards and requirements for managed platforms.Manage and perform periodic attestation, control, and performance procedures as deemed necessary.Manage staff and processes to ensure enterprise issues are supported 24/7.Manage vendor relationships.In order to be successful in this position, we require the following: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).A minimum of eight (8) years of technology experience.A minimum of three years of experience in a technology lead or management position supporting applications.
