Manager of Plant Operations

The Manager is responsible for building maintenance, materials management, security and safety. This includes maintaining the Facility, equipment, and furnishings in a safe, clean, sanitary and attractive condition in compliance with codes, OSHA regulations, licensing, quality and accrediting requirements, risk management guidelines. Prepare comprehensive complex reports, negotiate, and manage contracts, prepare and administer department budgets. Present ideas persuasively in both oral and written formats. Identify and analyze complex technical, operational, and administrative problems and evaluate alternative solutions, and recommend or adopt effective changes. Responsible for the selection, management, supervision, and evaluation of Plant Operations staff. Assists in all aspects of Facility safety, to include Manage, select, train, motivate and evaluate technical staff. Maintains strict confidentiality and privacy of resident’s personally identifiable health information in accordance with HIPAA privacy rules and Facility policies. Meets mandatory staff development requirement per the standards of all regulatory and accrediting agencies.
