Strong communication skills are desired for documenting technical information and interfacing with our industry partners and government sponsors.\nTraining for required Cloud certification and Security+ certification will be provided.\nRequired Qualifications\nU.S. Citizenship\nBS/MS in Computer Science or related technical background\n4+ years of experience\nExperience with Object Oriented code design\nProficient in Python computer applications development\nExperience writing software for UNIX/Linux platform\nMotivated self-starter capable of setting goals and meeting scheduled objectives\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment\nDetail-oriented, with excellent oral and written communication skills\nAdaptable and flexible including ability to adapt to changing priorities and conditions\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience writing software for Windows platform including PowerShell scripting\nExperience with building quality web application using the following technologies: JavaScript/JSON, Java, C/C++, PHP, Perl, HTML, LAMP stack, CSS, NodeJS, Ruby on Rails, JQuery, AJAX\nExperience with Jenkins, CI/CD\nExperience with SQL and NoSQL storage\nKnowledge on container solutions such as Docker and Red Hat OpenShift and their configuration and implementation\nKnowledge of configuration/change management system: Foreman, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet\nUnderstand the principles of designing and building scalable systems using cloud-based infrastructures such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud\nKnowledge on virtualization technologies such as VMWare or VirtualBox\nExperienced AWS Cloud Architect (including containers and serverless)\nExperience working in SC2S (preferred) or SIPR environments\nExperience with pipeline tools such as Jfrog/Artifactory and Cloudbees/Jenkins\nExperience with enterprise IAM including Active Directory with AWS federation\nExperience with system engineering and information technology\nIf you are interested in applying for one of our positions, please email your resume to linda@solidstatescientific.com.
