This position is primarily responsible for ensuring that the goals of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. You must be able to travel, projects could be CONUS or OCONUS. In this position, you will:\nPlan and coordination of activities designated to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters\nAttend all in-briefs and out-briefs\nAct as the prime implementer of field activities and tasks preparatory to field activities\nAssist in identifying and performing general labor tasks to achieve project objectives under the direction of the Deputy Program Manager\nContribute methods of approach and identify solutions to logistical or operational challenges and general field operations\nReview project proposals or plans to determine time frames, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of project\nEstablish / review / direct work plans and staffing for each phase of project and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel\nReview cost status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required\nPrepare project reports for management, client or others\nCoordinate project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies\nCoordinate and update with Project Accountant on Monthly Cost reports\nIn addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position\nRequirements\nAbility to write reports and business correspondence\nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions\nCompetent in using Microsoft Office products, email systems, Windows, Outlook and Teams\nTen years of experience with scheduling and project planning for large environmental / DoD related projects\nDepartment of Defense (DoD) client experience\nTen years working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local environmental law regulations, and guidance as they apply to the region specified in the solicitation\nSolid computer skills\nEducation: This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, construction management, geology, chemistry, or closely related discipline.
