Real Estate Paralegal/Settlement Coordinator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a well regarded law firm to recruit an experienced real estate paralegal and settlement coordinator. This full time role is ideal for someone who has hands on experience supporting both residential and commercial real estate closings and can manage communications, documentation, and workflow throughout the entire settlement process.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate all aspects of residential and commercial real estate closingsPrepare settlement statements, closing packages, and related documentationReview purchase agreements, loan documents, title commitments, and surveysCommunicate with lenders, title companies, realtors, attorneys, and clients to ensure smooth transactionsOrder and track title searches, lien searches, payoffs, and supporting documentsManage escrow funds and ensure all required financial documentation is accurate and completeSchedule closings, maintain closing calendars, and track critical deadlinesOrganize and maintain detailed client files in compliance with firm proceduresAssist attorneys with document preparation and follow up throughout the transaction cycleQualifications:Experience handling both residential and commercial real estate closings is requiredStrong understanding of settlement procedures, title documents, and closing workflowsFamiliarity with title software and document management systemsExceptional organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detailAbility to communicate professionally with clients, lenders, brokers, and internal teamsProficiency with Microsoft Office and real estate transaction platformsAbility to work independently while managing multiple ongoing filesThis posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients.Benefits:Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the benefits may include PTO, medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term disability and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan.
