Vice President - Asset Management Location: Charleston, South CarolinaA privately held real estate investment and operating platform based in Charleston, SC is seeking a Vice President of Asset Management to help lead and scale its asset management function. This individual will play a senior leadership role overseeing a portfolio primarily focused on hospitality assets, with additional exposure to multifamily and mixed-use investments.This role will act as the ownership representative across the portfolio, driving operating performance, capital execution, and long-term value creation while working closely with senior leadership and key operating partners.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary ownership representative for a hospitality-focused portfolio, with supplemental oversight of multifamily and mixed-use assetsDevelop and execute asset-level business plans focused on NOI growth, operational efficiency, and value creationOversee and manage third-party operators and property management teams, ensuring alignment with budgets and strategic objectivesLead annual budgeting, reforecasting, and ongoing variance analysisEvaluate and execute capital improvement programs, renovations, and repositioning initiativesPartner with senior leadership on hold-sell analysis, refinancing opportunities, and disposition strategiesPrepare clear, concise reporting for internal stakeholders and investorsAssist in mentoring and developing junior asset management professionals as the platform continues to growIdeal Background8+ years of progressive asset management experience within hospitality real estate, private equity, or owner-operator platformsProven experience overseeing full-cycle hotel investments, including renovations, rebrands, or operational turnaroundsExposure to multifamily and mixed-use assets preferredStrong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and performance analysisComfortable operating in an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven environment with direct access to senior leadershipWhy This RoleSenior leadership opportunity within a growing, well-capitalized platformDirect influence over portfolio strategy and performanceHigh-quality assets with meaningful operational and value creation upsideLong-term growth potential based in Charleston, SCThis search is being conducted on a confidential basis.
