Senior Tax Associate
We are looking for an individual who enjoys working with a variety of clients and is seeking long-term growth within public accounting.Responsibilities• Prepare individual, partnership, corporate, and other tax returns of varying complexity• Assist with accounting, audit, review, and compilation engagements• Prepare financial statements, workpapers, and supporting documentation• Perform general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and bookkeeping functions• Assist with tax planning projects and client advisory services• Draft client correspondence and management letter comments for Partner review• Work directly with clients to obtain information and resolve accounting and tax-related matters• Supervise and mentor junior staff as experience level allows• Collaborate with Managers and Partners on client engagements and special projectsQualifications• 3–5 years of recent public accounting experience• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting• Experience with accounting, auditing, and tax engagements in a CPA firm environment• Experience preparing individual and business tax returns• Working knowledge of financial statement preparation and audit/review procedures• Experience with QuickBooks preferred• CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification preferred• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentWhat We Offer• Competitive compensation ($80,000 – $100,000+ depending on experience)• CPA support and continuing education opportunities• Direct exposure to Partners and firm leadership• Diverse client base and industry exposure• Career advancement opportunities within a growing public accounting firm• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and retirement plan optionsThis position requires additional hours during peak tax season and offers excellent long-term career growth for professionals seeking broad public accounting experience.
