{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"6361fc46c1c2e7c20f0ce2ed","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6361fc46c1c2e7c20f0ce2ed","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6361fc46c1c2e7c20f0ce2ed","title":"2nd Shift Machine Operator","description":"Job Description\n\nA company that embraces innovation is currently seeking a Machine Operator for a full-time temporary to permanent position in Middleboro, MA.Responsibilities of Machine Operator:-Set-up and Operated manufacturing machines-Monitor machines making adjustments and stopping/starting the machines as needed-Maintain fluid and lubricant levels and change basic fixtures-Complete RFSmart transactions-Perform and submit in-process inspections-Utilize measuring tools including OD Micrometer, Vernier and Drop Gage during quality checks ensuring specifications are consistently met-Remove scrap metal from machines-Report any equipment or tooling failures-Maintain daily logs, documentation, and inspection reports-Follow all work instructions and work orders-Perform other related tasks as assignedRequirements of Machine Operator:-Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent-3+ years Machine operation experience-Previous experience in manufacturing environment-Past experience using measuring tools such as OD Micrometer, Vernier and Drop Gage-Mechanically Inclined-able to read and interpret blueprints-Knowledgeable of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing-Use of Gauge block and laser ZYGO experience preferred-Basic Math skills-Able to lift and carry 40lbs regularly-Superior attention to detail-able to train on the first shift 1-2 monthsHours: 3:00pm-1:30am Monday-ThursdayTraining hours: 4:30am-3:00pm Monday-ThursdayPay Rate: up to 22.00/hrCompany DescriptionThe Alpha Group is one of Massachusetts largest privately owned staffing firms.
