DescriptionAssume direct patient care responsibilities as assigned by the radiologist or department director, ensure patient safety, perform x-ray examinations, perform C.T. maintain an active continuing education program, maintain spirit of cooperation, conduct business as a health care professional, and ability to deliver age appropriate care.RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or equivalentGraduate of an AMA approved school of radiological technologySuccessful completion of registry examinationOne year of experience under Board Certified RadiologistMinimal Certified (ARRT) (R)Prefer ARRT (R)(CT)EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE:High School diploma or equivalentBLS CertificationACLS strongly encouragedPHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:Continuous movement throughout the hospitalContinuous standingIntermittent bending, kneeling, and squattingAbility to lift up to 30% of your body weightAbility to read and understand EnglishAbility to communicate verbally and in writingAbility to interact with patients, families and staff in a professionalmanner in stressful situations.Ability to maintain matters of a confidential nature
