Special Asset Financial Consultant - Chicago & Surrounding Areas Position Summary: Position will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of bank non-performing commercial real estate loans as well as the marketing and disposition of commercial REO assets. Primary objective of this position is to analyze each asset and prepare and implement asset plans that minimize the cost of ownership and maximize asset values. Typical duties associated with the position:  Negotiate workout terms for default resolution  Negotiate and prepare short-term maturity extensions  Monitor loans for insurance default and tax default to include receipt of evidence of insurance and receipt for payment of taxes  Collect annual financial statements and maintain records / update credit file  Review debt service coverage / ratios  Underwrite borrower requests with emphasis on financial status of borrower, debt to income ratios and asset values  Provide weekly / monthly status reports, review and recommend risk rating changes, review and recommend approval of transactions, maturity extensions, forbearance and workouts  Handle borrow requests in a timely manner Required Skills, Accreditation & Certifications:  Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university specializing in real estate or finance- related fields  Minimum 3 years of experience in the workout of non-performing commercial real estate loans or asset dispositions  Ability to prepare financial models and asset plans  Position entails reading, understanding and negotiating loan documentation  Ability to underwrite commercial real estate and/or residential acquisition, development and construction transactions  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office application is required, familiarity of standard industry software applications (Excel, Argus) is preferred Company Description: PSA Solutions, Inc.
