In this role the AE will work with outside sales personnel, field technicians, internal staff, and others to support owners, consulting engineers and contractors in the development and design of projects involving water and sewer collection/distribution, pumping, treatment, storage, and disposal.\nThe position involves working closely with personnel within APE, partners, vendors, clients, regulators, etc. Must be able to work with a team through the entire timeline of a project, including the steps of quoting, ordering, construction planning, installation support, change orders, start-up services, troubleshooting, monitoring, reporting, etc.\nThis role will be onsite 5 days a week.\nWhat you'll do:\nCollection of project information from sales staff, owners, engineers, municipalities, etc.\nPump System Design Support, Configuration, Quotation, Fulfillment\nHydraulic Modeling / System analysis\nPump selection\nControls configuration\nTreatment System Design Support, Configuration, Quotation, Fulfillment\nTechnical Writing\nCommunication with Engineers, Owners, and Contractors\nSystem specifications and design reports\nCost estimating for project budgeting, etc.\nEquipment quotes for public and private projects\nUnderstanding and conforming to relevant regulations\nProject management\n\nWhat you bring:\n3+ years of experience working for a manufacturer or supplier of pumping or other fluid handling/treatment systems or in civil/mechanical/electrical engineering, civil construction, water/wastewater system operations\nFamiliarity with water/wastewater treatment processes and equipment, electrical controls, pumps, estimating, and/or sales is preferred\nBachelor's degree in an engineering or construction-related field desired, but not required if replaced by sufficient experience.\nMust be agile and proficient with general business software (e.g. NetSuite/Dynamics/Epicor ERP, Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Monday.com WM/CRM, Adobe Acrobat).\nExperience in AutoCAD or SolidWorks is nice, but not required.\nTravel up to 5%\nJoin our team to innovate the future of water and wastewater.
