Job ID#21830\n\n Pay Rate: $94 - $99/hr\n\nJob Description:\n\nThe SI&WS GMSE division creates the next generation products and services for the BDS business unit. We work with both commercial and proprietary customers in the development of the next-generation technologies in space. Our team focuses on rapid prototyping to demonstrate a host of mission-focused technologies for a variety of customers. Our group works all facets of engineering from technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements, design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments.\n\nThe DevOps Developer will join a high-performing team that is immersed in high intensity development projects. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work proprietary programs for U.S. government customers who are responsible for exciting advanced technology national security missions.\n\nPosition Responsibilities:\nApply modern DevOps practices (including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerized deployments, and infrastructure as code) to streamline integration and test activities\nStand up, configure, and maintain secure test environments leveraging cloud-native and virtualized resources\nDrive continuous improvement of integration and test processes, incorporating automation, metrics, and lessons learned to increase efficiency and reliability\nAutomate, develop, monitor, improve, and troubleshoot across engineering development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration processes, and security controls\nReview, develop, document, and maintain system requirements and traceability\nInterface with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external customers\n\n(Required Skills:\n3+ years of experience with deploying, securing and supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems (RHEL5/6/7/8)\nExperience in DevOps cloud system design\nExperience with scripting, particularly in shell scripting in sh and csh variants, Bash, Python, and PERL\nExperience writing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Bicep, ARM, or Terraform\nMust be willing and able to travel occasionally to support customer needs\nMust be willing to work flexible hours, including on call support as needed (including weekends and holidays)\nActive Top Secret/SCI security clearance with an adjudicated CI/FS polygraph\n\nPreferred Skills:\n10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nExperience with VMware Virtual Machines and Hypervisor\nExperience with PKI certificates and Security protocols\nExperience with Jira and Confluence\nExperience with Windows 10+\nActive CompTIA Security+ certification\n\nEducation / Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).\n\nBenefits offered to vary by the contract.
