Cardiovascular Technologist Location: Goldsboro, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,246 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/8/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Cardiovascular Sonographer Specialty: Not specified Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: BLS required Certifications: One of the following is required: RDCS certified through ARDMS, RCS, ACS, or RCCS certified through CCI Must-Have: - Equipment Calibration - Equipment Maintenance - Patient Assessment - Emergency Cardiac Care - Ultrasound Imaging Description: Demonstrates competence in delivering pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care. Includes patient assessment, pre- and post-procedure care, and emergency cardiac care (CPR is required). Assistance with post-procedure transport may be required. Ensures equipment is calibrated and properly maintained on a daily basis. Performs and records all equipment maintenance and quality assurance monitoring. Troubleshoots and identifies any equipment problems and reports to the appropriate supervisor. Generates ultrasound images of the heart and/or vascular related structures. May perform staff training and education. Monitors and records patient information and maintains report storage and data systems. Compiles and enters data necessary for charge entry and prepares reports. Responsible for retrieval of stored information and reports from the automated storage system. Prepares the procedure room and equipment for daily use. Responsible for timely and efficient room preparation between procedures.
