We therefore recruit where we are active and train our employees to operate our state-of-the-art technologies to provide services to our high-profile clients in the region.\nThe global dimension offers a range of opportunities for those who are motivated by a challenging and multicultural environment where employees come with very different backgrounds but with a common wish to collaborate and succeed.\nThe position\nThe North American region has experienced strong growth in activity, and to further strengthen and support our operations, we are looking for highly motivated Engineers and Technologists.\nWe support industry-leading global operators across different oil & gas basins in the USA, Canada and the Caribbeans.\nYou will receive exceptional training that will guarantee a successful career in diverse roles and responsibilities in the energy industry.\nThis position is available in Houma LA.\nKey Responsibilities\nAs a Field Engineer, you will be expected to:\nPrepare and execute complex onshore and offshore operations in North America\nPerform job load-out and rig up/down at wellsite, in both onshore and offshore environments\nFollow detailed processes and procedures, including risk analysis to maintain an industry-leading level of service quality\nUphold a high level of customer service at all times\nUndertake technical, safety, and shop/office responsibilities as assigned by the Service Delivery Manager (SDM)\nLearn the process of exploring and developing the energy industry and the contributions of the diverse service companies supporting the industry\nThe candidate\nThe preferred candidate has the following profile:\nRelevant diploma/degree: Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering Technology\nAbility to learn quickly and a lifelong learner\nLeads by example in promoting and maintaining a safe workplace and holding others in the field accountable to this high standard\nBe a highly motivated individual who approach challenges with a positive attitude and is willing to work under pressure and in varying remote conditions\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nMust be teachable, coachable, willing to push boundaries and challenge conventional thinking\nTeam player with leadership skills\nBe an ambassador for Welltec and Welltec technology when performing jobs on site – This includes building good relationships and promoting Welltec services\nMust be available to relocate\nValid Class Driver’s license and clean record (required)\nMust be authorized to live and work in the USA or Canada\nWe also welcome applications from recent graduates\nWe offer\nWorking with Welltec® means professional challenges and personal development in a demanding but rewarding work environment.
