Position Summary: Schedule: 8am-8pm Monday through Friday Prep Cook duties will consist of assisting the Kitchen Team with their daily prep tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our kitchen team and will have an opportunity to develop into higher kitchen roles with time. REQUIREMENTS: · Culinary education is preferred · Proven cooking experience, restaurant cook or prep cook · Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures · Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout service. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Comfortable navigating stairs and moving efficiently throughout the restaurant during service. Additional Information: We are closed on most major holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
