About YouAt least 3 years of experience managing software development teams working on SaaS solutionsAt least 7 years of professional experience as a software development engineer with progressive growthExperience working with .Net (C#) or similar frameworksExperience hiring, developing and managing engineering talentExperience with owning and maintaining high-volume, high-availability production environmentsCapable of deep troubleshooting and discovering root causes of problemsExperience creating and documenting system design and architectureExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to work effectively within and across departmentsExperience working within a DevOps environmentExperience collaborating with product managers/owners on initiative planning & solutioningExcellent organization skills - ability to work effectively and independently prioritize tasks. ResponsibilitiesManage and lead a team of software development engineers, set goals, assign tasks, and review performanceOwn and drive the implementation of complex product features. Manage the support and maintenance of systems after releaseWork cooperatively with cross-functional teams of project managers, testers, and customer representatives within a system development life cycleMentor software engineers on software programming and design best practices. Drive programming excellence and discipline, including the production of high-quality and maintainable codeConstantly improve the development processes, tools and methodologies used by developersPromote teamwork and problem resolution. Foster an environment of open discussion, debate, and questioning while always maintaining professionalism and respect for othersIdentify and recommend new technology directions and platforms.
