A leading food manufacturing organization is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to support operations at its Kent, Washington facility. This person will be tasked with leading site-wide environmental, health, and safety programs while strengthening a proactive, injury-free culture. The role plays a critical part in ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing risk, and driving sustainable practices across the plant. It’s a strong opportunity for an experienced EHS leader to make a visible impact at a complex manufacturing site.The RoleLead and manage all environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs for the facility.Drive compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations while aligning with internal standards and policies.Develop and deliver safety and environmental training programs that promote an injury-free workplace.Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations, identifying trends and implementing preventive actions.Serve as a key partner to plant leadership and cross-functional teams, including facilitation of safety committees.The CandidateBachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management, or a related field.At least five years of EHS experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations with proven compliance experience.Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, influence stakeholders, and develop teams.Experience with risk assessments, audits, regulatory reporting, and incident analysis; CSP certification is preferred.
