Join GDIT as a Field Engineering Sr Manager for a career where your growth is just as important as the mission you support.\n\nMEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT\nAs a Field Engineering Sr Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of multiple VLS customers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring MK 41 VLS equipment is maintained and tested to the stringent VLS requirements to maintain US National Security.\nManage over 20 direct reports in the day to day operations of the VLS shipbard and VLS production.\nCollaborate with mulitple GDIT departments such as Quality Assurance, Security, Weld Shop, Painting Shop and outside vendors/subcontractors.\nDrive schedules and manage the work force to successfully meet multiple contract milestones.\nUtilize experience as VLS Test Director to enusre must current and correct VLS poliocies and procedures are being followed. Maintain a fluid relationship with the VLS PEO and VLS ISEA.\n\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED\nBring your VLS Test Director expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
