For most of 2026, the target location will be in Australia.\n\nAt Applied Intuition, you will:\n\nOwn end‑to‑end field deployment of Applied’s product lines at customer sites, leading integrations of systems from initial setup through steady‑state operations.\n\nPartner with customer operations leadership and frontline teams (control room, field ops, maintenance, etc) to establish clear roles, decision paths, and day‑to‑day operating procedures.\n\nDrive safe operational readiness by translating safety philosophy and “non‑negotiable” critical controls into site procedures, training, and go/no‑go criteria.\n\nAct as the technical escalation point on‑site: triage issues, collect logs/telemetry, reproduce problems, and prioritize fixes with the broader engineering team while keeping customers unblocked.\n\nMonitor deployment health and performance (uptime, throughput, latency, intervention rates), then drive continuous improvement with the customer, internal engineering teams, and Applied leadership.\n\nWe're looking for someone who has:\n\n3+ years of experience supporting technology deployed on heavy equipment, construction machinery, mining trucks, or similar off‑road vehicles.\n\nPrior experience working in the mining/construction industry.\n\nHands‑on experience with field installations, including wiring harnesses, sensors, ECUs, power systems, and vehicle interfaces.\n\nExperience deploying and supporting software systems in production or customer environments.\n\nStrong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, electrical, and networking domains.\n\nComfortable working in active construction or industrial environments.\n\nAbility to work independently, own outcomes, and make sound technical decisions in the field.\n\nStrong communication skills and comfort acting as the primary customer‑facing engineer.\n\nWillingness to be based on‑site in Louisiana for extended periods.\n\nNice to have:\n\nBackground in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, robotics, or related technical fields.\n\nPrior work in autonomous vehicle development domains.\n\nFamiliarity with CAN, Ethernet, vehicle diagnostics, and logging tools.\n\nExperience working with Linux‑based systems in the field.\n\nCompensation and benefits\nCompensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401(k) retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off.
