Operate machines according to production specifics.\nOperate machines efficiently to produce high-quality plastic films, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.\nMonitor and adjust machine settings such as speed, to maintain product quality.\nMaintain proper stock levels of materials and notify the supervisor when inventory is low.\nContinuously monitor film quality during production, inspecting for visual defects.\nReport any recurring mechanical problems with the machines.\nOther responsibilities as assigned.\n\nSKILLS & ABILITIES:\nAbility to read and write in English and basic math skills required.\nExcellent attention to detail.\nStrong communication skills.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.\nAttention to detail and ability to maintain focus.\nKnowledge of production process and quality control.\n\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in manufacturing process or machine operation is a plus.\nProven experience as a machine operator, preferably in manufacturing or plastic films manufacturing.\nKnowledge of the blown films process and machinery, highly preferred.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on your own.\nAbility to stand for prolonged periods of time.\nCapability to perform repetitive tasks.\nComfortable working in a factory setting with varying temperatures and exposure to dust and loud noises.\n\nSalary Range: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour\n\nThis range reflects the base salary that Polyvinyl Films Inc. reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role, based on current market data.
