As the Sr FED on Aurora, you will be working with a team of designers and stakeholders to build a framework agnostic component library used by both internal and external delivery teams. Aurora Components are built against Aurora designs so a strong knowledge of working against design specifications is critical.You will report to the Manager of Web Technical Services. As such, you will be working with the 3 other teams that are part of their organization but will also work with all the other delivery teams that contribute to the Novant Health product catalog including external vendors. The Aurora team currently consists of 4 designers, 1 developer and the product owner.Responsibilities include:Introduce, maintain, and advance standard tools and processes that enable repeatable and scalable omni-channel successBuild and maintain documentation and training to enable designers and developers to effectively use our design systemProvide technical thought leadership and contribute to next iterations of the design system based on evolving enterprise needs and trends in technologyDrive the implementation of our visual language in coordination with our design and development leadersWork with the design team to improve usability and to ensure high-quality standards and brand consistency.
