This person will be responsible for determining and completing appropriate repairs in an efficient manner with the least effect on production. This position will work in the Soy plant.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nMonitor, repair and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for entire facility\nPerform welding, torch and plasma cutting to complete various repairs\nComplete daily paperwork including equipment inspection and work orders\nTroubleshoot electrical problems and complete repairs when appropriate\nMaintain plant sanitation standards\nProvide on-call support for plant operations\nPerform other duties as assigned\nRequirements:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent required\n2+ years of experience in a mechanically related field or equivalent\nAbility to read and understand blueprints and equipment specifications\nSkilled in operating a forklift, bobcat and end-loader\nSkilled in using hand tools including screwdriver, hammer, drill and pliers\nSkilled in operation of shop equipment including lathe, press and band saw\nProficiency in AC/DC electrical principles and the safe operation of diagnostic tools\nExcellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external customers\nExcellent time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills\nMust be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen\nAg Processing Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-Verify.\nOrganization Summary:\nAg Processing Inc (AGP) is a cooperative that processes, sells and transports soybeans, grains, and related products.
