As an equal-opportunity workplace and affirmative-action employer, we celebrate and support a diverse workplace for the benefit of all: our employees, customers and communities.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAs an integral member of the Loan Operations Department, the position of Loan Operations Escrow Processor 1 is mainly responsible for coordinating all activities related to property taxes and insurances related to real estate-secured loans held at the bank.\n\nEssential Responsibilities:\n\nReview accounts with property taxes and insurances that are escrowed to ensure they adhere to federal regulations\nPrepare remittance for property taxes as due\nPrepare remittance for hazard insurance premiums on a monthly basis\nPrepare remittance for mortgage insurance premiums as due\nResearch and maintenance tax data through the banks tax servicing vendor\nPrepare documentation for the creation of an escrow account for existing loans\nPrepare and send regulatory letters when cancelling property taxes and insurance\nProcess escrow payment transactions and maintenance the system accordingly\nFunction as a resource for branch personnel with escrow questions; communicate with customers, insurance companies and real property tax collectors regarding escrowed accounts\nMaintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner\n\nQualifications\n\nEducation, Training and Requirements:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\nAssociates Degree in business related field or equivalent work experience preferred\nAll applicants must be 18 years of age or older\n\nSkills:\n\nStrong attention to detail as well as proven organizational and analytical skills\nHighly organized, with the ability to multi-task\nAbility to prioritize and work effectively under time constraints\nAbove average written and verbal communication skills\nIntermediate to strong computer skills, including ability to create and manipulate data and spreadsheets in Excel\nMust be able to consistently demonstrate the Company’s core values: a strong work ethic, integrity, respect for others, responsibility, transparency and humility\n\nExperience:\n\nPreference will be given to a candidate with at least one (1) year experience in banking and knowledge of lending products and services.
