Military Veterans Encouraged to Apply.\nJob Description:\nThe Data Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across the organization. This role involves developing and implementing data quality processes, conducting data analysis and validation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity. The candidate will utilize their extensive experience to create data quality frameworks, identify data issues, and implement corrective measures.\nRequirements:\nU.S Citizenship required.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance\nThis position is remote but may require occasional onsite meetings in McLean, VA.\nYou can be based out of following states: AZ, DC, FL, GA, OH, ME, MD, SC, TX, UT, VA, NC, OK, WV.\nQualifications and Experience:\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.\n\nAt least 7 years of experience in data quality engineering or a related role, including work with Oracle-based data platforms.\n\nStrong understanding of data quality principles, methodologies, and tools, including data validation, reconciliation, and profiling frameworks.\n\nProficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis and data quality assessment.\n\nExperience designing and supporting data pipelines and ETL/ELT data transformations.\n\nExperience with schema and version control and managing data quality artifacts using GitHub.\n\nFamiliarity with Kubernetes-run data jobs and Docker-based pipeline packaging.\n\nExperience with Redis lookup caching for reference or validation data.\n\nFamiliarity with GitOps-based deployment flows using ArgoCD.\n\nExperience monitoring data pipelines and quality metrics using Grafana and/or Dynatrace.\n\nFamiliarity with data governance and compliance standards.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nAttention to detail and accuracy.\n\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.\n\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in a government contracting environment.\n\nKnowledge of automated data quality monitoring tools.\n\nFamiliarity with cloud-based data platforms and tools.\nResponsibilities\nData Quality Strategy and Framework Development:\nDevelop and implement comprehensive data quality strategies and frameworks.\n\nEstablish data quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and report on data quality.\nData Validation and Analysis:\nConduct thorough data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data.\nIdentify, document, and resolve data quality issues.\nData Cleansing and Transformation:\nDevelop and implement data cleansing processes to correct data quality issues.\n\nTransform data to align with data quality standards and business requirements.\nCollaboration and Stakeholder Management:\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts, to understand data requirements and address data quality issues.\nCommunicate data quality findings and recommendations to stakeholders.\nContinuous Improvement:\nStay updated with industry trends and best practices in data quality management.\n\nContinuously seek opportunities to improve data quality processes and methodologies.\nDocumentation and Reporting:\nMaintain comprehensive documentation of data quality processes, policies, and procedures.\n\nGenerate regular data quality reports and dashboards to track progress and highlight areas for improvement.\nCompliance and Security:\nEnsure data quality processes comply with relevant regulations and standards, such as FedRAMP, FISMA, and HIPAA.\nImplement data security measures to protect sensitive information\nCompensation and Benefits:\nAt NDi, we value our team and are committed to retaining top talent by offering competitive benefits and compensation packages.
