Our technology, combined with our commitment to saving lives and our passion for aviation, will empower everyone to experience the joy and freedom of flight.\n\nSYSTEMS TEST ENGINEER - EL SEGUNDO, CA\n\nSupport systems test activities in a high-tempo work environment, ensuring test objectives are met on schedule.\nWrite, execute, and maintain test procedures, setups, and documentation supporting avionics systems and subsystems integration.\nSupport system-level integration efforts in the Systems Integration Lab (SIL) environment, following configuration control and traceability practices across all test assets.\nWork with engineering teams to build, integrate, and troubleshoot harnesses and wiring for both SIL and aircraft applications.\nPrepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) for test articles, lab hardware, and integration assets.\nSupport supplier activities related to environmental and EMI/EMC testing, including witnessing tests and helping review test plans and results.\nWork with cross-functional teams including GNC, Perception, Safety, Systems, Flight Test, and Software to support integration and testing of complex avionics systems.\nIdentify and document test anomalies, support root cause analysis, and help implement corrective actions to resolve integration issues.\nContribute to process improvements in test methodologies, equipment usage, and integration workflows.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nBachelor of Science in Systems, Mechanical, or Electronics engineering disciplines, or equivalent years of experience.\n2+ years of technical avionics experience.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nMaster's in Systems, Mechanical, or Electronics engineering disciplines, or equivalent years of experience.\nHands-on experience with the integration, test, and data analysis of Avionics/Electromechanical systems on aircraft.\nFamiliarity with lab test equipment, harness fabrication, and troubleshooting at the bench and aircraft level.\nUnderstanding of how Avionics/Electromechanical systems integrate and interact with the overall aircraft.\nExposure to certification activities for regulated safety-critical systems in the aerospace industry.\n\nWHY SKYRYSE?\n\nThe opportunity to change the world through improving aviation safety and accessibility.\nSalary: $125,000 - $150,000\nValuable stock option plan.\nHeavily subsidized medical, dental and vision plans.\nFull-time employees are eligible for 20 days of paid time off (PTO) and 5 sick days annually.
