This role works onsite with the project team to help ensure work is completed in alignment with applicable engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instructions. What you’ll doProvide technical and administrative support to project team members to maintain compliance with applicable standards, codes, specs, and design instructionsTroubleshoot engineering-related installation and field issues; recommend practical solutionsSupport project closeout activities, including punch list planning and executionPrepare specifications and documentation for purchasing materials and equipmentAssist with estimating and change order managementSupport design coordination, commissioning support, and procurement coordinationGenerate and submit invoices and support O&M manual compilation/submittalParticipate in Key Project Reviews (KPR)Maintain coordination/detailing logs and help manage project schedules, including schedule updatesTrack productivity reporting and identify value-added solutions and cost-saving opportunitiesWhat we’re looking forExperience: ideally 3–4 years (open to 2+ years) in a project engineering or similar role, preferably in electrical construction or with an electrical contractorEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (ABET-accredited preferred); will also consider highly technical degrees such as Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or similarInterest in long-term growth toward Project Lead / Project Manager responsibilitiesTools and software (preferred)Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:ProcoreBluebeamAccubidMcCormickPrimavera P6Microsoft ProjectWork environment and physical requirementsRegular computer use for extended periodsAbility to sit for extended periods and perform typical office/jobsite coordination tasksStrong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to interpret technical information and project documentationSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
