The successful candidate will support electricians and instrument technicians by assisting with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems. This role involves performing a wide range of tasks that aid in the efficient and safe completion of projects.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssistance with Installation: Assist fellow tradesman with the installation of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control equipment according to drawings and technical specifications.\nMaterial Handling: Handle, transport, and organize tools, equipment, and materials needed for successful project execution and completion.\nBasic Tasks: Fabricating tray and brackets, housekeeping, drilling and cutting, supporting fellow tradesman as needed.\nTool and Equipment Use: Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete job tasks.\nSafety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, regulations, and best practices. Ensure all work is performed with a strong emphasis on safety.\nQualifications:\nEducation: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nExperience: Minimum of 1 year of work experience. Offshore experience preferred.\nCertifications: Offshore certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET, OGUK Medical) required; certifications in pneumatics or industrial maintenance are a plus. If these are not currently held, they will be provided upon hire.\nSkills:\nAbility to read a tape measure.\nAbility to drill holes on the mark and make square cuts.\nStrong communication skills a must.\nMust possess general hand tools.
