Job SummaryThe Mortgage Loan Officer is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans by building strong relationships with clients, referral partners, and internal teams. This role focuses on guiding borrowers through the mortgage process, identifying appropriate loan solutions, and ensuring a smooth, compliant, and customer-focused experience from application through closing.Apply nowEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Originate and manage residential mortgage loans, including purchase and refinance transactions.Develop and maintain relationships with real estate professionals, builders, and other referral sources.Consult with borrowers to assess financial needs and recommend suitable mortgage products.Collect, review, and submit complete loan applications and supporting documentation.Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers throughout the loan lifecycle.Ensure compliance with all regulatory, credit, and underwriting requirements.Meet or exceed individual production and quality goals while maintaining excellent customer service standards.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Prior experience in residential mortgage lending or loan origination.Strong knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.Proven ability to generate new business through referrals and relationship development.Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.Proficiency with loan origination systems and standard office technology.
