The Security Administrator will provide administrative and operational security support across multiple security functions, including access control, personnel security, document and media control, security education, records management, and the handling of classified and unclassified materials. The successful candidate will maintain security databases and accountability records, coordinate security-related activities, support senior-level offices, and ensure sensitive information is protected in accordance with applicable requirements.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nManage access control, visit processing, personnel entries and exits, escort requirements, new-employee security processing, and end-of-day security checks.\nSupport collateral, Special Access Program, and Sensitive Compartmented Information personnel security programs, including indoctrinations and debriefings.\nMaintain accurate security records, files, databases, suspense items, and accountability documentation.\nSupport security reviews, self-inspections, inquiries, investigations, and incident reporting.\nAssist with implementing security regulations, directives, guides, procedures, and controls.\nDevelop and deliver security education, training, awareness materials, plans, and communications.\nReceive, inspect, track, store, distribute, transmit, archive, and destroy classified and unclassified materials through approved channels.\nManage Document Control Center procedures, secure electronic data transfers, accountable mail, and document and media accountability.\nConduct inventories, audits, and reconciliations of documents, electronic media, and other controlled materials.\nReview documents for accuracy, completeness, classification markings, handling requirements, and overall quality.\nPrepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other administrative products while tracking deadlines and action items.\nCoordinate meetings, conferences, briefings, and special taskings and prepare supporting materials for senior-level officials.\nCoordinate the review and staffing of executive correspondence and other products.\nEstablish and maintain administrative procedures and workflow processes.\nRecommend security and administrative process improvements.\nSupport additional security and administrative activities as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nActive Top Secret security clearance current within the last five years.\nU.S. citizenship.\nThree or more years of relevant experience in security administration, personnel security, access control, document control, classified-material accountability, or a related security field.\nKnowledge of Special Access Program security requirements and practices.\nExperience handling and protecting classified, controlled, private, or otherwise sensitive information.\nExperience performing one or more of the following functions:\n\nAccess control and visit processing\n\nPersonnel security administration\n\nClassified document or media control\n\nSecurity records and database management\n\nClassified-material accountability\n\nStrong written communication, documentation, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, databases, spreadsheets, and security-tracking systems.\nExcellent interpersonal and customer-service skills.\nAbility to address difficult or demanding situations professionally and work toward effective resolution.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and meet established deadlines.\nAbility to work effectively with limited supervision and collaborate with customers and stakeholders at all organizational levels.\nAbility to work onsite in Arlington, Virginia.\nWillingness to undergo a counterintelligence-scope polygraph if required as a condition of access eligibility.\nMust meet customer suitability requirements.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting collateral, Special Access Program, or Sensitive Compartmented Information security programs.\nKnowledge of Department of Defense security policies, procedures, and guidance.\nExperience supporting a classified federal, defense, research, or acquisition environment.\nExperience with Document Control Center operations and secure electronic data transfers.\nExperience conducting security indoctrinations, debriefings, self-inspections, inventories, or incident inquiries.\nExperience preparing security directives, guides, procedures, training materials, or awareness communications.\nExperience supporting senior government officials or executive-level offices.\nWhy Join Pendleton Solutions?\n\nPendleton Solutions provides security, intelligence, technology, and professional services in support of critical government missions.
