Reading Intervention Teacher

CWC fosters a creative and collaborative environment in which teachers grow as educators through ongoing coaching, observation, and feedback cycles while providing an excellent education to their students.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide targeted literacy intervention instruction for students in grades TK-5 using evidence-based reading intervention programs. Plan and deliver intensive, engaging, and joyful lessons that integrate reading, writing, phonics, and word study.Monitor student progress through ongoing assessment practices and maintain accurate academic data.Analyze student performance data to tailor instruction and support individual student growth toward academic goals.Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environment grounded in CWC’s social emotional learning practices.Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, intervention specialists, school leaders, and families to support student achievement.Participate actively in professional development opportunities (led by the principal, lead teachers and visiting experts) coaching cycles, school-based collaboration, and continuous learning.Maintain proactive and responsive communication with families and caregivers regarding student progress and support plans.Contribute positively to the broader school community through professionalism, collaboration, and stewardship of the CWC LA mission and values.Meet professional expectations related to preparation, deadlines, documentation, and instructional responsibilities.
