School Bus DriverTo provide safe and efficient transportation so that students may enjoy the fullest possible advantage from the district's curriculum and extracurricular program.Performance Responsibilities:Obeys all traffic lawsObserves all mandatory safety regulations for school busesMaintains discipline when students are on busReports undisciplined students to the proper authorityKeeps assigned bus cleanKeeps to assigned scheduleChecks bus before each operation for mechanical defectsNotifies the proper authority in case of mechanical failure or latenessDischarges students only at authorized stopsExercises responsible leadership when on out-of-district school tripsTransports only authorized studentsReports all accidents and completes required reportsMust hold AZ. CDL License for Passenger and School Bus Training completion.
