Regional Sales Manager

Job SummaryThe Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is assigned a territory and is charged with growing their book of business through B2B engagement and fulfillment. Success in this role is met by leveraging your network/contacts, sales skills, collaboration and teamwork skills, and business acumen for creating a successful customer experience. As an RSM you will manage all aspects of your book of business with existing customers, and prospective customers cultivated through engagement, expanding product distribution within your territory.Primary Responsibilities & Core SkillsetFollow up on self-generated & organically generated B2B sales leadsManage all aspects of territory customer relationship(s)/engagement(s)Ability to read blueprints, create estimates and sales presentationsModerate computer skillsStrong customer service focusStrong intrapersonal and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of the construction or building products industry(s)Excellent verbal, non-verbal, written, and visual communication skillsExperienceValid driver's license3 years outside sales3 years negotiation2 years budget & planning2 years business planning and outline2 years sales presentations2 years reading and creating sales based reportsCustomer Relationship Management (CRM) systemsFamiliarity with modular/offsite construction a plusChief Architect and Hubspot software a plusEducationHigh School Diploma or equivalentPhysical RequirementsAbility to travel regularly throughout assigned territory, including occasional overnight travelAbility to work in office, manufacturing, construction, and customer site environmentsAbility to sit, stand, walk, and use standard office equipment for extended periodsAbility to lift and carry sales materials and equipment up to 25 pounds occasionallyAbility to safely navigate construction sites and manufacturing facilitiesAbility to review construction drawings, specifications, and related documents with attention to detail
