This role involves supporting healthcare providers by performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks tailored to the needs of the practice.Essential Responsibilities:Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triaging calls appropriately while offering reassurance, clear instructions, and patient education.Ensure smooth healthcare delivery throughout patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and accurately documenting findings in electronic medical records.Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and medication management, including sample medications and maintaining logs.Coordinate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications, ensuring patients understand physician instructions and treatment plans.Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.Carry out additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.Education and Experience Required: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program.Work Shift: Day shift, Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.This opportunity is located in a welcoming healthcare setting serving the Midwest region of the United States.
