Together, we are shaping the future of aerospace and creating technologies that will change the world.\n\nJob Overview\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes that ensure products meet established standards and customer requirements. This role will involve working closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to identify non-conformances and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role will include the use of a laser tracker and other high-precision measuring tools to verify part and assembly dimensional compliance.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\n\nPerform in-process and final inspections of composite and metallic parts, sub-assemblies, and finished products.\n\nUse precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, laser trackers) to verify part dimensions and tolerances.\n\nMonitor production or development processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.\n\nDocument inspection results and non-conformances using appropriate forms, databases, or quality systems (e.g., NCRs, inspection reports).\n\nCollaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and recommend corrective actions.\n\nInterpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications, including GD&T requirements.\n\nVerify compliance with manufacturing process specifications, work instructions, and quality standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP).\n\nLead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.\n\nDevelop and maintain quality control and quality assurance procedures.\n\nConduct audits, inspections, and quality assessments.\n\nQualifications and Requirements\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or other relevant experience deemed equivalent.\n\n2–5+ years of quality engineering experience.\n\nKnowledge of quality tools and methodologies: Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CPA).\n\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.\n\nStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills.\n\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\n\nProficiency with measurement tools: calipers, micrometers, height gauges.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience with a laser tracker or measurement arm (FARO). Experience with Verisurf is a plus.\n\nExperience with composite parts is a plus.\n\nEligibility\nMust be a “US PERSON” per ITAR and OPSEC requirements.\n\nWorking Conditions\nOffice environment, indoors, air-conditioned.
