This position is ideal for a professional with 1–3 years of estimating or civil/site experience who is ready to deepen their expertise in site preparation, grading, curb, drainage, and related civil scopes.In this role, you will collaborate closely with our estimating team to develop highly competitive bids and support all preconstruction activities. This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven position that requires precision, organization, and a proactive mindset. From coast to coast, our projects build legacies that athletes, fans, and communities rely on.We hire and operate by four core values:We Own It – Responsibility and initiative drive our success.We Are Grounded – We stay humble, practical, and focused.We Stay True – Integrity guides every project.We Win Together – Collaboration fuels our momentum.At Nationwide Turf, we don't just build fields—we build futures.Key ResponsibilitiesThoroughly review bid invitations, plans, specifications, and addenda to understand full project scope and requirements.Perform accurate quantity take-offs for earthwork, drainage, base preparation, utilities, and related civil scopes.Prepare detailed cost estimates accounting for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.Coordinate solicitation and evaluation of subcontractor and supplier quotes.Organize and maintain detailed estimating files, bid schedules, and project documentation.Participate in internal bid review meetings to identify scope gaps, risk items, and value engineering opportunities.Support accurate and timely preparation and submission of complete bid proposals.Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and project management teams to ensure smooth project handoffs.Qualifications1–3 years of experience in construction estimating, civil/site work, field engineering, or related roles (internships and co‐op experience considered).Foundational understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and heavy equipment.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Experience with Bluebeam, HCSS HeavyBid, PlanSwift, or similar estimating software is a plus.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports.Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to manage multiple bids and tight deadlines simultaneously.Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.Self‐motivated, organized, and eager to continue developing technical expertise.Benefits & Compensation $62,000 – $83,000 annually ($20.00 – $30.00 per hour)Weekly payPerformance-based bonuses401(k) Retirement Plan with up to 4% company match (after one year of service)Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance (eligible after 90 days; company pays 50% of premiums)Deductible Reimbursement Plan (up to $5,000 annually toward health insurance deductible)Company-paid Short-Term and Long-Term DisabilityWork-Life BalancePaid Time Off (PTO)Six Paid Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas DayWork Schedule Full-TimeMonday – Friday during standard business hoursFast-paced, deadline-driven environment with seasonal fluctuations in bid volumeWork Location Primary office location: Valles Mines, MORemote or hybrid options availablePreference for candidates local to our shop for periodic in-person coordinationOccasional travel to the shop or project meetings may be requiredWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
