RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nDesign, build, test, validate, and optimize electronic systems, PCBAs, and components.\n\nDesign, build, test, validate, and optimize electrical harnesses and wiring.\n\nRapid prototyping and iteration of electric/electronic components and electric harnesses.\n\nWork with suppliers to resolve technical challenges ensuring product meets safety and quality standards.\n\nIdentify applicable off-the-shelf electronics/electrical components and support procurement efforts.\n\nIntegration and assembly of electrical components and electrical harnesses into prototype chassis.\n\nTroubleshoot and implement corrective actions in real-time.\n\nCollaborate with software engineers on setting requirements for designing electronics components.\n\nDevelop and maintain detailed documentation, work instructions, and process validation reports.\n\nDevelop tooling, harnessing form boards, testers, and quality control plans for electric harness assembly.\n\nPartner with the engineering team to ensure manufacturability of electric/electronics components and assemblies.\n\nPartner with design, quality, and supply chain teams to support production and ensure seamless transitions from prototype to full scale production.\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\n\nExceptional understanding of materials used in electrical systems, harness, and PCBA manufacturing, including wire types, connectors, crimping, epoxies, PCBA design considerations and electrical components.\n\n10+ years of hands-on experience with soldering, wire crimping, connectors, prototyping, rework techniques, and building electrical harnesses.\n\n10+ years of electronics, electrical, and PCBA experience.\n\nExperience with CAN and signal electric harnesses.\n\nHighly experienced with electrical and power distribution high voltage systems, wiring, integration, safety (60-800Vdc).\n\nHands-on experience with electronics assembly and prototype development.\n\nExcellent concentration and attention to detail with outstanding work efficiency and accuracy.\n\nExperience setting up and running tests and experiments.\n\nHigh proficiency in electronics design software and ability to create production documentation for suppliers.\n\nAbility to read, interpret and work from drawings, schematics, assembly procedures and work instructions.\n\nADDITIONAL DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\n\nBattery design, BMS, and charging.\n\nAutomotive EV powertrains and high voltage charging systems.\n\nExperience with brushless electric motors.\n\nRC models, drones, and UAV building.\n\nSoftware programming.\n\nAbility to work with CAD software (Solidworks).\n\nHands-on mechanical skills.\n\nSOFT SKILLS:\n\n\"Can-do, will-do\" attitude with a proactive approach and willingness to take action.\n\nApplies time management, first principle thinking, effective planning, prioritizing, and organizing skills to maximize
