In this role, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing databases to support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Power BI administration, relational databases, and data integration to drive efficient data solutions.\r\nResponsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\nAdminister and maintain Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL databases to ensure optimal performance and security.\r\n\r\n\r\nOversee Power BI workspaces, datasets, and reporting tools to support business intelligence needs.\r\n\r\n\r\nDevelop and implement data integration strategies, including working with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.\r\n\r\n\r\nMonitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.\r\n\r\n\r\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute data-driven solutions.\r\n\r\n\r\nCreate and maintain documentation for database systems, processes, and procedures.\r\n\r\n\r\nEnsure compliance with security protocols and data protection standards.\r\n\r\n\r\nPerform database backups, recovery, and upgrades as needed.\r\n\r\n\r\nProvide technical support and guidance to non-technical stakeholders regarding database-related functions.\r\n\r\n\r\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to streamline operations. Requirements \r\n\r\n\r\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.\r\n\r\n\r\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in database administration or business intelligence with a strong attention to detail.\r\n\r\n\r\nProficiency in Power BI administration, including managing workspaces and datasets.\r\n\r\n\r\nHands-on experience with relational database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.\r\n\r\n\r\nFamiliarity with Dynamics 365 data integration is preferred.\r\n\r\n\r\nStrong skills in Azure Synapse Analytics is a plus.\r\n\r\n\r\nExcellent communication abilities to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.\r\n\r\n\r\nProven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.\r\n\r\n\r\nTechnology Doesn't Change the World, People Do. \r\nRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
