As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and make a positive impact on their lives.Responsibilities:Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilitiesDevelop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goalsUtilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions to help patients improve their functional abilitiesCollaborate with other healthcare professionals and caregivers to provide comprehensive care to patientsMonitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as neededEducate patients and their families on how to continue therapy exercises and techniques at homeStay current with advancements and best practices in occupational therapy and incorporate them into patient careAdhere to all ethical and legal standards of the occupational therapy professionMaintain accurate and timely patient records and documentationRequirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational TherapyCurrent state license or eligibility for state licensurePrevious experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking skillsCompassionate and patient-focused approachAbility to lift and move patients and equipment as neededBasic computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records
