Successful candidates will possess a strong combination of semiconductor manufacturing knowledge, software development expertise, database architecture experience, and data analytics skills.\r\nCore Responsibilities Design, configure, develop, and implement MES platforms supporting semiconductor manufacturing operations.\r\nBuild configurable manufacturing workflows, process routes, dispatching logic, production tracking, and electronic work instructions.\r\nDesign and develop MES application frameworks, APIs, services, and user interfaces.\r\nCreate scalable database architectures supporting genealogy, traceability, SPC, quality management, WIP tracking, and manufacturing analytics.\r\nDevelop integrations between MES and ERP, equipment automation systems, PLCs, SCADA platforms, historians, laboratory systems, and enterprise applications.\r\nBuild custom dashboards, reporting tools, analytics platforms, and real-time manufacturing monitoring applications.\r\nDevelop AI-enabled capabilities including predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, process optimization, intelligent scheduling, and decision-support systems.\r\nConfigure production tracking, genealogy, quality management, electronic batch records, and traceability functions.\r\nCollaborate with data science and AI teams to integrate predictive analytics, machine learning, and automation tools.\r\nCollaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to translate business requirements into software solutions.\r\nCreate technical documentation, system specifications, SOPs, training materials, and support documentation.\r\nEnsure cybersecurity, data integrity, system reliability, and regulatory compliance requirements are met.\r\nSupport software lifecycle management, upgrades, performance optimization, and long-term platform strategy.\r\nSupport system upgrades, patches, and long-term scalability planning.\r\nRequired Qualifications Education: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Information Technology, Automation, or related field with 8+ years of experience; or MS with 6+ years of experience.\r\nExperience developing, implementing, and supporting MES platforms.\r\nExperience building internally developed MES or manufacturing applications.\r\nSemiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Medical device, Automotive, Electronics manufacturing experience strongly preferred.\r\nExperience with MES platforms such as Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Ignition, AVEVA/Wonderware, SAP ME/MII, Tulip, Critical Manufacturing, Apriso.\r\nProgramming experience in SQL, Python, C#, JavaScript, .NET.\r\nKnowledge of REST APIs, OPC UA, MQTT, industrial networking, database management.\r\nExperience integrating MES with ERP systems, PLCs, SCADA, IoT devices, cloud platforms.\r\nUnderstanding of AI/ML concepts and industrial AI applications.\r\nFamiliarity with data visualization and reporting tools.\r\nPreferred Qualifications Previous experience designing and deploying MES systems in a manufacturing environment.\r\nExperience implementing AI-driven manufacturing or Industry4.0 initiatives.\r\nKnowledge of machine learning applications in production environments.\r\nExperience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.\r\nFamiliarity with digital twins, predictive maintenance, process optimization.\r\nExperience in regulated manufacturing environments.\r\nMES vendor certifications preferred.\r\nSoft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\r\nExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.\r\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\r\nStrong documentation and organizational skills.\r\nSelf-motivated with continuous improvement mindset.\r\nAbility to translate business needs into technical solutions.\r\nKey Deliverables Successful MES deployment and integration.\r\nImproved manufacturing visibility and traceability.\r\nReduced downtime and production errors.\r\nAccurate reporting and data-driven decision-making.\r\nUser adoption and operational support.\r\nCompensation and Benefits Annual base salary range: $109,700 – $175,500.
