We support clients across industries by providing scalable, reliable, and innovative QA and IT services.Position OverviewiLAB is seeking experienced Documentation Specialists / Technical Writers to support a large scale IT modernization program within a government environment.This role focuses on translating complex technical and business information into clear, structured, and user friendly documentation, ensuring alignment with PMO standards and program goals.The ideal candidate combines strong writing skills with business analysis experience and thrives working across technical and business teams.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical DocumentationDevelop and maintain technical and business documentationTranslate complex information into clear and concise materialsCreate manuals, guides, and system documentationManage documentation libraries and artifactsQuality and Content ReviewReview and edit technical documents for accuracy and clarityGather information from subject matter experts and stakeholdersEnsure consistency and adherence to documentation standardsBusiness Analysis and RequirementsSupport or lead requirements gathering sessionsDocument business requirements, user stories, and processesDevelop As Is and To Be documentationSupport process improvement initiativesStakeholder CollaborationAct as liaison between business and technical teamsPrepare executive briefings and documentationSupport cross functional collaboration and communicationRequired Qualifications3+ years of technical or business writing experience5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar roleExperience with Agile and Waterfall methodologiesStrong experience documenting requirements and processesExperience working with cross functional teamsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and VisioStrong communication, writing, and organizational skillsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Technical Writing, or related field, or equivalent experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similarExperience with project management tools like Jira or MS ProjectCertifications such as CBAP or PMI PBAExperience in government or large enterprise environmentsStrong problem solving and proactive mindset
