This role involves performing a variety of ultrasound procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate imaging results to support diagnostic and treatment decisions.Department Overview The Diagnostic Imaging department utilizes advanced, state-of-the-art technology to support timely and accurate diagnoses. Services provided include X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, CT, Digital Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and PET-CT imaging.Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures including abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts imaging Ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety standards Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support diagnostic interpretation Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC EMR system Adhere to facility protocols and regulatory standards Required Qualifications ARDMS certification (or equivalent) in Abdomen and OB/GYN specialties Current, active, and unencumbered Oregon Sonography license Current BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound experience Strong clinical and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a hospital setting Additional Details Guaranteed 36 hours per week Weekend and holiday coverage required On-call responsibilities may apply EPIC EMR experience preferred Facility Information Samaritan Albany General Hospital is a mid-sized facility serving the Albany, Oregon community, providing comprehensive healthcare services with a focus on quality and patient-centered care.Application Instructions When applying, please include: Your availability for an interview Preferred method of contact (phone or email)
